Greening Virginia Universities and Colleges was held September 26, 2006, at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This one-day conference focused on best practices in green school design, energy management, and renewable technology, as well as green curriculum and sustainable planning. With guest speaker David Orr, Program Chair, Environmental Studies Program, Oberlin College.
The event was co-sponsored by VSBN, James Madison University, VA DMME, Virginia Sustainable Future Forum, APPA, AASHE, SCUP, SACUBO, and others.
