High Performance Schools SymposiumHigh Performance Schools: A Regional and International Perspective, was co-sponsored by VSBN and held in Washington, DC on April 24, 2006. Event features included Regional Best Practices, the Winners of the Montgomery County, MD and USGBC-NCR Emerging Green Builders Portable Classroom Design Challenge, and special evening speaker, Stefan Behnisch. Cosponsors included AIA-Northern VA, CEFPI Foundation and Charitable Trust, Metro Washington COG, Montgomery County, MD Public Schools, US DOE, U.S. EPA, and Emerging Green Builders (USGBC-NCR).
