Resilient Strategies Guide for Water UtilitiesThe Resilient Strategies Guide has a step-by-step process to help utilities identify their planning priorities, vulnerable assets, potential adaptation strategies, and available funding sources.

Users begin by defining their Utility Type, State/Territory, and Population Served. The user then moves on to the Priorities section and selects their planning priorities using filters based on relevance and categories. Users select their assets in the next section, based on relevance and vulnerability. The search engine then produces strategies, funding sources, and additional resources for planning for resilience and assessing their plans.

When completed, utilities can generate reports to share their results and export their data for use in a more comprehensive assessment of adaptation plans using EPA’s Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT). Users can also review case studies on EPA’s Case Study and Information Exchange Map.
