A Plan from Vulnerability to ResilienceThe MCR2030 Resilience Roadmap is divided into three stages. Cities can progress onto the next stage as their needs and commitments to MCR2030 evolve over time and as they reach the milestones, based on set criteria and pledged commitments. The goal of MCR2030 is to move cities to the end of Stage C, where they have mainstreamed Disaster Risk Reduction(DRR), and ensure they maintain the level of resilience achieved.

This website offers an MCR2030 Resilience Roadmap Stage Assessment, where browsers can answer multiple-choice questions about their city that produce results on what stage in the resilience roadmap they are in. Based off those results, one can understand what steps to focus on and set goals and commitments for the three stages of the roadmap (Stage A, Stage B, or Stage C). Stage A of the roadmap focuses on raising awareness of disaster risk reduction and resilience: stage B focuses on progression, in terms of improving risk analysis and diagnostic skills before planning and making policies; stage C focuses on improving the implementation of new plans by securing access to finance, improving the ability to design resilient infrastructure that factors in DRR.

This resource provides extensive resources for each stage of the roadmap, so that cities at various stages can access the information particularly relevant to their DRR progress.
