Eliminating carbon emissions in Virginia by 2050 is achievable and affordable

A study released by UVA’s Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service details the ways Virginia can eliminate carbon emissions by 2050 in an achievable and affordable way, providing a net benefit to the state’s economy.

In this publication, Whitelaw Reid interviews Professor William Shobe, director of University of Virginia’s Center for Economic Policy Studies at the Cooper Center and co-author of the report, taking a deeper dive into the study.
