IATP Search: ResilienceUnder the topic of resilience, the Institute for Agriculture & Trade Policy’s search engine provided browsers access to dozens of articles that pertain to sustainable agriculture and resilience.

This page lists articles with their title and a short summary of what they are about. This website offers readers information on how to help farmers protect soil and water while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and boosting resilience.

Articles on this page discuss the need to integrate climate change concerns in food security policies and programs and to increase resilience of vulnerable groups and food systems to climate change. There is also information on logistics, both social and economic, of setting strong policies that result in real, actual emissions reductions and climate resilience and that better match the urgency of the climate crisis.

These articles make connections between local community efforts and state agencies and programs that need to take action on climate resilient rural infrastructure, with examples of how policies and practices for this are implemented. Articles in this resource also discuss how public investment and regulation is needed to ensure stable food supplies and fair prices, and how the Farm Bill will affect current practices.
