Regeneration International

Regeneration International (RI) promotes, facilitates, and accelerates the global transition to regenerative food, farming and land management for the purpose of restoring climate stability, ending world hunger, and rebuilding deteriorated social, ecological, and economic systems.

RI relies on dedicated local and international organizations to identify regional best practices, guide global campaigns, and ensure that messages about regeneration reaches even the most remote communities. Their website includes an interactive map browsers can use to locate RI Partners all over the globe; browsers can also follows links beneath the map that are organized by countries or continents’ programs. There is also a search engine on the site so that people can find regenerative farms based on specific criteria.

Browsers can learn about the network’s Regeneration Alliances and how to become one officially. A Regeneration Alliance is a self-organizing network of consumer groups, farmers, farm groups, businesses, NGOs, land managers, religious groups, government officials and agencies, political/policy reform activists and others who share the RI vision.

There is also a page on the website for the Farmers & Ranchers for a Green New Deal, a bipartisan national coalition of rural and urban farmers and ranchers, and organizations that represent farmers and ranchers that work together to advance food and agriculture policies.

RI’s website has a page dedicated to the Billion Agave Project, an ecosystem-regeneration strategy recently adopted by several Mexican farms in Guanajuato. This website also has a blog, newsletters, and links for stories about regenerative agriculture and other news related to agriculture systems and climate change.

RI presents “Trails of Regeneration,” a video series accessible through the website; it features stories of regeneration from around the globe about people who love and care for nature’s ecosystems and human well-being.

For information on events RI hosts or partakes in, there is a page for access to the organization’s event calendar.

The website provides information for how to join the RI Network. RI achieved 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and currently engages with a network of more than 250 international partners. Partners include NGOs, foundations, educational institutions, businesses, coalitions and informal groups.
