Strengthening the Voices of Rural Communities in Central and Southwest Virginia

Resilient Virginia is proud to announce our RVCA 2025 Priority-Setting Workshop series for Central and Southwest Virginia.

Resilient Virginia started the Resilient Virginia Collaborative Alliance (RVCA) in Fall 2023 to strengthen the voices of rural, underserved communities in Central and Southwest Virginia. The collaborative pulls together people from across the region for peer exchange, learning opportunities, and working groups and is currently working with regional stakeholders to draft a Rural Regional Resilience
Roadmap for Central and Southwest Virginia. The roadmap will detail shared priorities and goals, and outline a framework of actions that will create a strategic approach to planning for resilience in the region. This project kicked off with a Priority-Setting meeting held September 2024 in Christiansburg, VA.

The 2025 Priority-Setting Workshop Series will advance this effort by offering additional opportunities for those living and working in Central and Southwest Virginia a chance to voice their concerns and their ideas for solutions. Everyone is invited to attend.
